Category Manager – Gaming

To qualify as a suitable candidate you will:

  • Have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience on client side as a digital marketing manager or agency side  handling the day to day digital acquisitions activities of clients in the gaming space.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of the online gaming sector in India
  • Have a strong network of contacts specifically in the online gaming category which you will use to develop new business opportunities in close association with the business development team
  • Have relevant experience in client retention and managing overall growth.
  • Be a motivated and focused individual with great organisational and interpersonal skills

As Category lead you will:

  • Be responsible for the P&L for the gaming category and work closely with the client success team to ensure month and quarterly targets are achieved.
  • Conduct weekly reviews with all gaming clients along with the client success team and providing regular feedback to the management.
  • Attend appropriate events and conferences within the online gaming industry, acting as the perfect agency ambassador while networking
  • Keep up-to-date and maintain a strong knowledge on the digital gaming vertical

Regional Business Manager (West/South)

The persons will be responsible for driving the profitability of the Western/Southern region respectively, the main KRAs would be:

· Defining and achieving the Annual plans/targets that are in consistent with forecasts for clients in the West & South Region.

  • Be a core team member of the Sales function for the entire region; be primarily involved in P&L achievement and strategy development. Implement performance plans according to company protocol.· Key Account Management and their retention along with being part of the weekly/monthly reviews with the clients along with the CS team .
  • Report client feedback to leadership on a regular basis.· Devise a strategy for acquisition of relevant leads with the BD team, work on quick on-boarding of strategic and growth clients with regular communication with the HO team members. Maintain a C-level relationship with potential clients and pitch the product, solicit feedback and alter negotiating strategies based on the feedback with the objective of achieve high client on-boarding rate.
  • As the face of the Client Growth team in the region, establish CX’s culture and values in the team and ensure team adheres to the basic principles of client growth.
  • Reach out to prospective retail/ecommerce, gaming and personal care clients in the region along with mapping potential clients in the BSFI and Education sector.
  • Reach out to legacy businesses in the region who still adopt a weak digital approach.
  • Build an on-demand/outsourced team to handle logistics, warehouse pre and post-production team for photo-shoots and take these functionsin-house when the fixed costs are justified.
  • Manage the local infrastructure/office and day to day administration and expand the space as and when required.
  • Represent CommerceX in local digital events and forums within West and South ecosystems and work closely to ensure quarterly PR events are conducted.

· Industry & Market Intelligence: Keep abreast with developments of the sector and create opportunities for the organization. Be part of corporate strategic initiatives to start new products/businesses, grow existing ones, thought leadership, ideas.

Client Success Manager

Ability to handle different lifestyle brand’s digital marketing mandates with relevant experience at the client side.

Key responsibilities :

– Responsible for digital ad operations with the client & in-house digital ad-operations team and managing client’s end goals.

– Understanding client’s objectives and driving strategy and execution of the same and over-delivering on the goals.

– Monitoring of daily reports, preparation of weekly & monthly reviews with clients leading to actionable insights.

– In-depth understanding of all variables that can impact the client’s account and working with the internal teams to ensure client’s goals are exceeded

– Ability to do a research on best practices to be adopted, tools to be employed and share insights

– Strong understanding of data to measure marketing mix effectiveness of different channels i.e., paid, organic

– Co-ordination with multiple teams I.e. content, Paid marketing, SEO and creative to meet the client’s end objective

– Cross-sell & Up-sell wherever opportunity arises to expand the accounts.

Candidate should have:

– An engineering degree & minimum 3-5 years of experience in managing digital marketing cross-channels on the client side

– Extremely good communication & analytical skills and ability to identify and persevere from any situation

– Passionate about marketing and growing client’s business across verticals

– Out of the box thinking and innovative strategies that can help improve client’s accounts

– Hard self-worker with an attitude to prove himself, hunger to learn more & passion to grow

– Understanding of different marketing channels and how they work in co-relation with each other

– High awareness & thought leadership in the client’s verticals which the candidate is handling

Technical Skills :

– Understanding of digital platforms like Google, Facebook, Remarketing, CRM

– Analytical platforms like Google Analytics, Appsflyer, Mixpanel
